01

Start with the benefit you want to obtain

Research planning becomes clearer when you can name the result you need. That might be a useful development unlock, an improvement to resource activity, or a combat benefit relevant to your squad. Choosing a direction first makes the prerequisites and spending decisions easier to evaluate.

This guide uses KorpezGaming's July 5, 2026 research video. The acquired evidence is a Russian translated subtitle track, not a checked transcript of the original English audio. No client version or current research tree was verified. Branch names and routes below describe that recording; the comparison checklists are our editorial framework for reading your current client.

An earlier orientation comes from v1ne1c's March 29, 2026 beginner video. At 13:49–14:10, its Russian captions describe the laboratory as the technology system and a progress menu for settlement processes. That helps identify the system being discussed; it does not independently confirm KorpezGaming's later priorities, the current tree, or today's button labels.

02

Compare benefits before copying a branch order

At 00:23–01:25, the creator discusses Development research leading toward an additional training facility, followed by Economy choices involving production and gathering. Later sections discuss hero, squad, and other combat-oriented research.

Use those examples to distinguish the purpose of a research choice:

PurposeQuestion to ask in your current tree
Access or capacityWhat new option does this node actually make available?
Development or economyWhich recurring activity would benefit from the displayed improvement?
CombatWhich part of the squad or activity does the stated effect apply to?
Event-related progressDoes the current objective count this action, and under what conditions?

The table is a reading framework, not a complete list of present-day branches. Check the description on the node itself. A benefit can be valuable while still being less relevant to your immediate goal than a different unlock.

03

Follow the prerequisite path to a chosen destination

Select the result you want, then inspect the required route. Work backward until you find a node you can currently begin. Record which parts of the route are mandatory and which improvements you are considering for their own benefits.

At 08:44–10:23, KorpezGaming discusses a long-term troop route and recommends meeting required prerequisites rather than maximizing every earlier node. The useful distinction is between access requirements and optional investment.

Apply it carefully: read the prerequisite displayed for your intended destination, complete the necessary step, and reassess after it finishes. This article does not provide a verified current Elite Troops route, a guaranteed troop unlock, or a Sanctuary-level threshold. A historical creator milestone should not become a rule merely because it sounds precise.

04

Match the choice to a real bottleneck

Before investing, write a short explanation of the problem the research addresses. For example, an economy improvement may matter because a material repeatedly limits your chosen activities; a combat improvement may matter because its stated effect applies to the squad you actually use.

Then check the competing explanation. Is the shortage mainly waiting for a required building? Is your combat problem more directly related to hero development? Research can be relevant without being the immediate answer to every obstacle.

The building order guide covers production and construction decisions. The hero progression guide separates level, skill, and equipment choices. Use those comparisons to explain why research is the investment you want now, rather than spending simply because a node is available.

05

Check the live event phase before spending

At 06:39–08:37, the creator discusses Alliance Duel research benefits and timing research-related spending around its research phase. His recording includes a fixed weekday, but that is not a verified calendar for your current server.

Use the current in-game timer and objective instead. Before spending, check:

  1. Whether the relevant event and phase are currently active.
  2. Which research action or item the objective explicitly counts.
  3. Whether the requirement concerns starting, completing, or spending, as actually stated.
  4. Whether your intended action meets that wording.
  5. What remains useful about the research apart from the event.

These are verification questions, not claims that every event uses those different conditions. The same care applies to scrolls: inspect the specific item's description and the current objective. This guide does not verify a Study Scroll button sequence, present-day points formula, or reward threshold.

06

Compare speed-up types after choosing the task

Our editorial spending framework starts with the research itself. If completing it does not unlock the next useful action, accelerating it may leave your larger plan waiting on something else.

Once the purpose is clear, read which items can affect that process. If both a specialized research item and a universal item are eligible, compare the alternatives you would give up by using each. A universal item may also be useful elsewhere; that flexibility is worth considering before spending it.

The creator discusses redirecting resources and universal speed-ups toward a later research goal. His particular stage is a personal route, not a present-day unlock rule. Use the general planning question—what is my main objective now?—without importing his exact threshold or completion-time estimates.

Also inspect the remaining prerequisite chain. Finishing one node early is most useful when you understand what comes after it and can act on that next step.

07

Keep alliance coordination and personal priorities distinct

If your alliance coordinates research-related activity, understand the current instructions and event objective before arranging your spending around them. Shared timing and your personal development goal can overlap, but they answer different questions.

A coordinated phase may tell you when an eligible action is useful to the group. It does not automatically establish which branch best addresses your character's bottleneck. Use the alliance guide for expectations and cooperation, and make the research benefit explicit in your own plan.

Likewise, keep troop research distinct from the processes described in the troop training guide. A research route, troop capacity, training, and promotion should not be treated as interchangeable actions without checking their current descriptions.

08

Reassess after the intended unlock

When a node completes, check whether you obtained the benefit or access you were pursuing. Review the next prerequisite before continuing down the same branch automatically. If the goal is now satisfied, compare the remaining choices again.

A useful research note can be brief: intended benefit, next required node, displayed cost, relevant event condition, and item choice. It is a decision record rather than a fixed long-term ladder.

For the surrounding settlement loop, return to the beginner guide. Research planning works best when each choice serves an understandable purpose and changes when that purpose has been met.

Common questions

Before you continue

Which research branch should I prioritize?

Start with the benefit or unlock that addresses your current bottleneck, then inspect its prerequisites. KorpezGaming's July 5, 2026 route discusses development, economy, and combat choices, but it is not a verified optimal order for every current server.

Should I maximize every node before moving deeper?

Read the actual prerequisites for the node you want. The creator recommends distinguishing required progress from optional upgrades on a particular long-term troop route; this guide does not establish a universal node-level plan.

When should I spend research scrolls for an event?

Check the current event phase, its timer, and the objective's exact wording in your client. Confirm that the particular item or action qualifies rather than following a fixed weekday from an older recording.

Should I use specialized or universal speed-ups?

First confirm that finishing the research serves your goal. Then read each item's eligibility and compare your alternatives. Keeping universal items available for other useful tasks is an editorial planning consideration, not a tested optimal spending rule.
